Resilience refers to the ability to bounce back from problems, to not let your setbacks and troubles keep you from moving forward. If a person has good resilience, they will be able to adjust to the events quickly, however person who has less resilience becomes overwhelmed by such experiences and resort to unhealthy coping mechanisms.
As a parent, we wish we could protect our kids from every defeat, disappointment, or even scary challenge. Although this isn’t possible, you can teach your kids to be resilient.
